What kind of work can I do with the HSMP visa?
Any. You can work in any occupation that you choose
either as an employee of a company, as a contractor, or working for yourself.
Do I need a job offer in the UK before I can apply for a HSMP visa?
In short, NO. You can get the Visa and come to the UK and try and find work upon
your arrival.
What does it take to qualify for the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme Visa?
There are five main areas (Age, Educational Qualification, MBA - via an institution
approved via the UK Home Office, UK Experience and Past Earnings) where if you score
at least 75 points, in addition to providing sufficient evidence of your proficiency
in the English Language then you may be able to obtain a HSMP visa.
How long can I can stay in the UK with a HMSP Visa?
Normally, the Visa is granted for 2 years, allowing you to live and work in the
UK for that period. However this can be extended upon your application to the Home
Office for upto a 3 years. However, once you have lived in the UK for a continuous
period of five years, you are eligable to apply for Settlement or Indefinate Leave
to Remain in the United Kingdom, which may in some circumstances lead to UK Citizenship.
What if my certificates are not in English, can I just send them?
No. You need get it translated via a recognised translator, so they can provide a fully certificated
translation of your documents.
If I get a HMSP visa, can my spouse/partner work
in the UK too?
Yes, provided that he/she meets the entry requirments.
What do I need to provide you for my application?

Who can I bring with me on my Visa?
